In the ensuing webpages, you will be introduced to a brief history of General Tinio, and from time to time, some recent events and issues will be publish for general information of the public.

It is our aim that this website will serve to enhance web users' understanding of the Municipality of General Tinio especially its noble mission and goals.

We believe this website will also facilitate a regular intellectual discourse and exchange of information between web users, the constituents and and General Tinio Website members, especially on public issues that are of central concern to all of us in our continuous effort to evolve a truly democratic, just, peaceful and secure community.

From 2^nd class Municipality in July 29, 2005 when its income level reached P 41, 694,000.00 for the CY 2002-2003 In a  Memorandum Circular No. 01-M (17)-05 dated Dec. 2, 2005 by the Bureau of Local Government Finance- Dept. of Finance (BLGF-DOF), now it was declared 1^st class municipality in a Memorandum  Circular No. 01-M(54)-08 dated Nov. 11,2008, when its income reached P 56,494,000.00. The towns success can be attributed to concerted efforts of local officials, employees of all levels, taxpayers and others who in one way or the other have contributed in bringing General Tinio to greater heights. Remarkable is the fact that hard work and perseverance could result into something the whole town can be truly proud of since the only way to attain one’s goals to work hard and to instill discipline in all aspects.  With this feat, the local government is capable of implementing its projects that will certainly work to the advantage of its citizenry not only thru Internal Revenue Allotment but also thru its local revenues. With this achievement, the taxpayers will be enlightened on where their taxes go, on how their money is being utilized by the local government. With this momentous event, the municipal constituents are able to savor the services that are due to them. To stand a municipality or even a nation cooperation and unity is needed. So, for us to get things done and realize our objectives, let us work harder!
